Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu (1,338 m/4,390 ft)
Day 2: Fly to Lukla and trek to Phakding 2,800m/9,187ft 3-4 hrs
Day 3: Trek from Phakding to Namche Bazaar 3,438m/11,280ft 5-6 hrs
Day 4: Namche Bazaar: Acclimatization Day 3,438m/11,280ft
Day 5: Trek from Namche Bazaar to Tengboche 3,870m/12,697ft
Day 6: Trek from Tengboche to Dingboche 4,360m/14,305ft 5-6 hrs
Day 7: Trek from Dingboche to Chukkung 4,730m/15,519ft 3-4 hrs
Day 8: Hike Chukkung to Island Peak Base Camp and Pre-Climb training at Island Peak Base Camp 5,200m/17,061ft 3-4 hrs
Day 9: Ascend Island Peak Base Camp to Island Peak Summit and back to the base camp 6,189m/20,306ft 8-10 hrs
Day 10: Contingency Day -an extra day given in case the targeted summit day has unfavorable weather conditions summit
Day 12: Trek back Chhukung to Namche Bazzar

Day 13: Fly back to Kathmandu

From the peak, you will get stunning, surreal views of mountains Nuptse (7,879m), Lhotse (8,501m), Lhotse Central (8,410m), and Lhotse Shar (8,383m) that form a semi-circle in the north, you can see Ama Dablam (6,812m) and Baruntse (7,129m) in the south, and Makalu (8,475m) in the east.

On the top of the Island Peak, you will experience the feeling of accomplishment that will last for your entire life. After enjoying the views to our heart's content, we will descend to the Island Peak Base Camp and retrace our trekking trail to reach Lukla. This adventurous Island Peak Climbing ends with a scenic mountain flight from Lukla to Kathmandu.
