Pokhara: 3-Day Family-Friendly Ghorepani and Poon Hill Trek – Perfect for Children!

Day 1: Pokhara - Nayapul - Tikhedhunga (1,570 meters)
Hiking Distance: Approximately 10 km (6.2 miles)
Begin with a scenic drive from Pokhara to Nayapul. Start trekking along the Modi Khola River, passing through small villages and rhododendron forests. Overnight in a tea house at Tikhedhunga.

Day 2: Tikhedhunga - Ghorepani (2,840 meters)
Hiking Distance: Approximately 12 km (7.5 miles)
Start the day with a challenging ascent to Ulleri village (3,000 steps). Continue trekking through rhododendron forests to reach Ghorepani, where you will stay overnight in a tea house.

Day 3: Ghorepani - Poon Hill (3,210 meters) - Nayapul - Pokhara
Hiking Distance: Approximately 15 km (9.3 miles)
Wake up early to hike up to Poon Hill for a stunning sunrise over the Himalayas and the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges. Descend back to Ulleri and continue through the forest to Nayapul, where a jeep will transfer you back to your hotel in Pokhara.
