Description

One of the old fashioned and interesting destination in Nepal. It is also the oldest towns in Nepal, that are still present till this day dating back to the 15 century or earlier.
Nepal is home to the historical site of Panauti. Given as a dowry by Bhupatindra Malla to her sister, a minor state, it is another artistic town after Kathmandu. The population of Panauti is less than 10,000. It was formerly a major center for the commerce of salt between Tibet and India.

With its routes winding through a field, upward, and downhill, it would be a great hiking route. With its numerous sculptures and cultural structures, this town is essentially the oldest in Nepal.

You may keep healthy and take in the lovely scenery while learning about the area's history and going on a trek.

  • panoramic views of the Kathmandu Valley and distant Himalayan peaks
  • Enjoy the scenic terraced fields, forests, and open hillsides
