Itinerary
Day 1: Kathmandu - Kyirong
Enjoy a scenic drive through the beautiful Nepalese countryside to the Kyirong border.
Complete border formalities at both Nepali and Chinese immigration.
Day 2: Kyirong - Tingri/Lhatse
After breakfast, embark on a journey towards the "roof of the world."
Witness the typical Tibetan landscape unfold, offering a sense of awe.
Weather permitting, marvel at a breathtaking panorama of the Himalayas, including Mt. Cho Oyu (8,201m) and Mt. Shishapangma (8,012m).
Pass by Piku Tso Lake before reaching your overnight stay at a hotel
Day 3: Tingri/Lhatse - Shigatse
Enjoy breakfast and prepare for a scenic drive.
Cross Gyantse La (5,220m), the highest pass on the route to Lhasa via Lhatse.
Observe the road that branches westward towards Mount Kailash.
Arrive in Shigatse and settle in for the night at the Yak Hotel.
Day 4: Shigatse - Gyantse - Lhasa
After breakfast, embark on a morning sightseeing tour.

Our fixed departure for this trip is exclusively on Saturdays from Kathmandu, and your arrival in Kathmandu from the trek should coincide with this day. If you are a group of four people and prefer to undertake this journey privately, please feel free to reach out to us via email at sales@peregrinetreks.com. The private cost will be determined based on the size of the group.
Should you wish to fly back to Kathmandu or explore other cities in China, a minimum of four people is required, and a private booking is necessary.
Please note that carrying any books or photos related to the Dalai Lama during your Tibet Tour is strictly prohibited. Additionally, Indian passport holders are not permitted to participate in this trip.
Please be informed that Tibet is closed during the month of March, so kindly refrain from booking your trip during this period.
Additionally, please prepare for daily drives lasting approximately 8 to 9 hours per day.
When should I book?
To guarantee availability book as soon as possible. Early booking is worth consideration especially if you planning the trip during high season like public holidays or weekends.
Cancellations
This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
