Heritage Walking Tour is a unique day tour activity that takes one through the ancient settlement of Kathmandu. Starting through the Ason market, one of the oldest markets, you will get insight to explore the ancient temples, monasteries pathi, and bihar.
The hike continues towards the ancient Kingdom of Kathmandu where you will be blessed to explore temples from the 7th century. This was the paradise of hippies till the ’70s and still the old street is named after ‘The Freek Street’. Exploring temples, the palace, and the museum, you will visit the Kumari Gar, where the living goddesses Kumari reside.
Further, your trail will lead you toward Swyambhunath Stupa also known as Monkey Temple. This will be through the heritage trail crossing the Bishnumati River to the hillock. This temple lies on the top of the hill and is one of the splendid places to explore the entire Kathmandu valley and the snowcapped Himalayas.
Exploring the magnificent site, you will descend through 365-steep all the way towards Shova Bhagwati Temple to explore the cremation ceremony on the bank of the river.
Finally, hiking through the local market of Paknajol, your trip ends at your respective hotel in Thamel.

9:00 AM: Pick Up from your respective hotel and hike through the Ason Market into Kathmandu Durbar Square, finally cross the Bishnumati river, hike uphill towards Monkey Temple, and descend through the staircase to Shova Bhagawati and finally end up at your hotel.
