This trek provides a perfect introduction to the beauty of the Nepalese Himalayas without requiring extensive time or trekking experience.
Day 01: Kathmandu to Pokhara -830m
We will pick you up at your hotel in the morning at 6:30 to the bus station, a Scenic drive through the Prithivi highway from Kathmandu to Pokhara. It takes for 7/8 hours approximately for a tourist bus. You can have leisure time to visit Pokhara lakeside area, overnight at the hotel.
Day 02: Pokhara to Drive Ulleri (1,960m) and trek to Ghorepani (2,880m) - 6 hours.
In the morning 8 am your guide will come to pick up from hotel and by jeep drive from Pokhara valley to Ulleri. The jeep drive crosses the scenic landscapes of the valley side, amazing waterfalls, and wide farmlands. Then drive goes along the banks of the Modi Khola to lush forests and crosses the beautiful villages of Sudan (1160m), Hille (1,495m), and Tikhedhunga (1570m). After having 3 hours of scenic drive, you arrive at Ulleri, where you will see wonderful mountain views of Annapurna South and Mount Machhapuchare ‘Fish Tail’. From Ulleri, you start through the lovely Magar villages and dense forests of rhododendron, magnolia, oaks, and pines. Likewise, the trail provides the beauty of natural and rare flora and fauna, then you are heading past Bhanthati village. After passing the colorful forests, you reach the beautiful Gurung village Ghorepani for an overnight stay.
Day 03: Morning hike to Poon Hill (3,210m) and trek to Ulleri and drive to Pokhara - 6 to 7 hours
Today is your major destination day of this trekking. Wake up early morning and be ready to hike Poon Hill. After climbing 45 minutes from Ghorepani you reach Poon Hill, which is the magical viewpoint in the Annapurna region. From Poon Hill, you will see an amazing sunrise view over the huge Himalayan as well as mesmerize panoramic mountain views of Dhaulagiri, Mustang Himal, Nilgiri’s, Annapurna, Machhapuchare Himal the famous Fish-Tail peak with Lamjung and Manaslu range of peaks. Finally, after exploring the delightful Poon Hill, you descend to Ghorepani. After having breakfast at the Ghorepani lodge, the trail drops down to Ulleri and you will drive back to Pokhara. Overnight stay in Pokhara hotel.
Day 04: In the morning 8 am we will drop you to the tourist bus station and a Scenic drive back to Kathmandu by luxury sofa seat tourist bus (7-8 hour) tour end.

Weather and Seasons: The Poon Hill trek can be done throughout the year, but the best time to trek is during the spring (March to May) and autumn (September to November) seasons. These months offer stable weather conditions and clear mountain views. However, weather in the mountains can be unpredictable, and trekkers should be prepared for changes in weather and temperature.
When should I book?
To guarantee availability book as soon as possible. Early booking is worth consideration especially if you planning the trip during high season like public holidays or weekends.
Cancellations
This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
