Enjoy a night at Dulikhel hillstation. Dhulikhel is one of the more popular places from which to observe the high Himalayas. Admire stunning panoramas of peaks unfolding in front of your eye. You can also enjoy a side trip to the sacred stupa at Namobuddha, a 12km drive or three-hour walk south.

Panauti is one of oldest towns in Nepal, with many temples dating back to the 15th Century or earlier. You can admire its many temples, stupas, and statues - plus the added charm of the green paddy fields in the area.

You will also go to Namobuddha, with the old Thrangu Tashi Yangtse Monastery - an important Buddhist pilgrimage site in Nepal. Stop at Bhaktapur Durbar Square, located 15 km from Kathmandu, which is a museum of medieval art and architecture with many examples of sculptures, woodcarvings, and colossal pagoda temples consecrated to different gods and goddesses.
