Embark on a 12-14 day trek to the Everest Base Camp, one of the world's most iconic and adventurous trekking routes. Admire the stunning landscapes of the Himalayas, including breathtaking views of Mount Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse, and other towering peaks.
Start your journey with a flight from Kathmandu to Lukla, a small town at 2,860 meters, known for its short, thrilling runway. Ascend from Lukla to Everest Base Camp (5,364 meters) and optionally to Kala Patthar (5,545 meters) for sunrise views of Everest.
Along the way, immerse yourself in the unique culture of the Sherpa people, with visits to ancient monasteries (such as the Tengboche Monastery) and traditional villages, where trekkers often experience warm hospitality.
Cross rugged trails, suspension bridges, and steep paths that require both endurance and acclimatization. However, the challenging journey is rewarding and manageable with adequate preparation and pacing.
Starting from lush pine forests to barren alpine terrain, the trek’s changing landscape supports a variety of flora and fauna. See Himalayan tahrs, pheasants, and, if lucky, even rare animals like the snow leopard.
