More than just a hot-air balloon ride, this program is a special experience you won’t soon forget! Experience the magic of Bagan and a thousand years of history from a hot-air balloon. You’ll get a special look at some of Bagan’s vast array of pagodas.
The program begins with a pick-up at your hotel at around 05:00-05:30 and a ride to the launch site. On arrival, you’ll be served a light breakfast while watching as the hot-air balloon is inflated and prepared for flight.
Once airborne, you’ll have mesmerizing views of majestic Bagan as you fly from treetop level up to several thousand feet, moving wherever the wind takes you. During the flight, your pilot will tell you about the history of ballooning and point out prominent pagodas.
Enjoy a sparkling wine toast upon your safe landing and receive a flight certificate from the pilot.
There will be a shuttle bus for the ride back to your hotel.

• Golden Eagle Ballooning will not be liable for illness or injury due to any undisclosed condition or failure to comply with any reasonable instructions given by the pilot, crew or company representatives
• Passengers who weigh above 125kg/280 pounds will be required to pay 100% surcharge of the ticket price
• Children aged between 8 and 16 years must have their own flight ticket. There is no concessionary fare for children. However, in order to fly, they must be over 137cm tall (4 feet 6 inches) and need to be accompanied by a paying adult. When booking for such children, please make sure you also make a corresponding booking for an accompanying adult.
• Pregnant women are not allowed to fly
• Children under 8 years old and under 137 cm tall are not allowed to fly
When should I book?
To guarantee availability book as soon as possible. Early booking is worth consideration especially if you planning the trip during high season like public holidays or weekends.
Cancellations
This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
