For 3 days let's forget the worries of every day life, leave behind TV, news and traffic jams and enjoy the slow flow of time in traditional Berber villages. You will admire the simple but pretty architecture of these villages that perfectly fit to the area, feel the warmth and hospitality of locals and again and again be astonished by the stunning views that open in front of you.
This track is a great alternative to the mountaineering oriented Toubkal tracks as it focus more on the village life and rural area.

Most of the time we will hike in altitude of approx. 2000 m. However avoiding Jebel Toubkal does not mean avoiding beautiful panorama and views. On the contrary, we will climb up to several passes, walk the valleys, have a rest at river banks and admire waterfalls...You will be accompanied by a licensed and experienced guide.

The tour is technically not difficult and you don't need to have any previous mountaineering experience.
We will spend the nights in the refuges where we will meet other travellers and enjoy the well-known hospitality and delicious cookery of Berber people.

Day 1: Imlil – Tizi n’Tamaterte – Tachddirt( Tamgist )

The first day is 5-6 hours walking and will take you from Imlil (1740m), to Tizi n’ Tamterte (2300m), to Tachdirt. There will be lunch on the pass after Tizi n’ Tamaterte before you head to the last village, Tachdirt or Tinghourine, and spend the night in a guesthouse.

Day 2: Tinghourin/Tachddirt-Ikkis-Aguersiwal-Matat-Ait Aissa

The second day will bring you 6-7 hours of trekking and take you from Tinghourine/Tachdirt to Ikkis, Aguersiwal (2100m) and to Matat to Ait Aissa. The route takes you by other picturesque villages and along the Oudit Pass (2200m). In the evening in the Ait Aissa, there is a gite to stay in and a steam bath (hamam) if you would like to use it.

Day 3 : Ait Aissa/Tizi Oussem-Imlil
The third day is 6hours will take us first to visit the beggest waterfalls in the Toubkal National park, then join the path that goes over Mzik pass 2500m with fantastic view over the Ait Mizan valley, lunch in Mzzik and trek dwon to imlil, end of trek and transfer to Marrakech.
