During the sightseeing walk you will get acquainted with the artifacts of the Illyrian and Roman eras of the city, which was formerly called Butua.

Budva is more than 2500 years old. The city was mentioned by Sophocles in the 5th century BC. In the 1st century there was a thriving Roman city here. Roman patricians built their villas here, and Emperor Justinian built a Christian basilica.
Slavs in the 9th century. They are baptized here and build temples and a fortress. Venice and Austria also left their mark here.

Nowadays the Old Town is full of romance and harmony, which you will feel as you walk through its narrow streets and small squares.
