Day 1: Arrival in Ulaanbaatar
Start your journey in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia's capital. Settle into your 4-star hotel and rest up for the exciting days ahead.

Day 2: Discover Ulaanbaatar
Explore Ulaanbaatar with a half-day city tour. Visit the Gandan Monastery to see Buddhist rituals, then the National History Museum to delve into Mongolia's past. Conclude at Sukhbaatar Square, the city's central hub.

Day 3: Chinggis Khan's Legacy & Terelj National Park
Travel to the Chinggis Khaan Statue Complex before heading to Terelj National Park. Visit the Ariyabal Meditation Temple and Turtle Rock, then meet a local family for a horse riding experience through the rugged landscapes.

Day 4: To Khuvsgul Lake
Return to Ulaanbaatar and catch a flight to Murun. Transfer to the stunning Khuvsgul Lake, where you can engage in horse riding, fishing, or relax by the lake’s serene shores.

Day 5: Tsagaan Nuur & Nomadic Cultures

Day 6: Adventure with the Dukha People
Journey on horseback into the taiga, guided by local horsemen, to a Dukha community. Spend the night near a reindeer herding family, learning about their way of life.

Day 7: A Day Among the Dukha
Spend a full day with the Dukha, learning about reindeer herding and traditional crafts. Engage in community activities and cultural exchange.

Day 8: Depart the Taiga
Ride back to Tsagaan Nuur, enjoying your final views of the taiga. Reflect on your cultural immersion in the comfort of your camp.

Day 9: Return to Murun
Travel back to Murun for an overnight stay at a local hostel, resting before your next travel leg.

Day 10: Return to Ulaanbaatar
Fly back to Ulaanbaatar and check into your hotel. Enjoy a free evening to relax or explore more of the city.

Day 11: Explore Ulaanbaatar

Accessibility:
Unfortunately, our Mongolia tour is not fully accessible by wheelchair due to the nature of the terrain and some of the facilities we visit.
We do not have infant seats available in our tour vehicles, so we recommend that travelers with young children bring their own.

To guarantee availability book as soon as possible. Early booking is worth consideration especially if you planning the trip during high season like public holidays or weekends.


Cancellations

This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
