Embark on a 4-day jungle and raft adventure from San Cristóbal de Las Casas. See the Agua Azul Waterfalls, Lacandon Jungle, and the Yaxchilán, Bonampak, and Palenque archeological sites.
• Day one (lunch and dinner included):
We leave early from the city of San Cristóbal de Las Casas to move to the Agua Azul waterfalls where we will observe the turquoise blue color of its waters (in the rain the water turns brown), later we move to the Misol-ha waterfall in where we can see its waterfall of more than 35 meters high. We leave for the Lacandon community of Lacanjá Chansayab to sleep at the Río Lacanjá Camp (Lunch and dinner).
• Day two (breakfast, lunch, dinner included):
Early in the morning we leave for the community of Frontera Corozal where we will take a motor boat to navigate the largest river in Mexico: the Usumacinta River, until we reach the lost city of Yaxchilán, one of the most amazing archaeological zones in Chiapas whose temples are They rise in the middle of the jungle. We return to the Río Lacanjá Camp and will walk an interpretive trail where we will better understand the importance of the high evergreen forest. We will sleep at the Río Lacanjá Camp (Breakfast, lunch, dinner).
• Day Three (breakfast, lunch, dinner included):
In the morning we visit the archaeological site of Bonampak, which means “Painted Walls”, famous for its mural paintings which are the most preserved and important of the classic Mayan. Later we return to the camp where we will begin the raft tour on the Lacanjá River. The first part of the rafting is a sequence of waterfalls that lasts approx. one hour, with small waterfalls (less than one meter) and some large class III waterfalls (up to 2.50 meters high). Later we will begin a walk to the archaeological zone of Lacanjá located 15 minutes from the river. Afterwards we visit the Moctuniha waterfalls where we will swim and have lunch. We return walking through the high evergreen forest. We slept at the Río Lacanjá Camp. (Breakfast, lunch, dinner)
• Day four (breakfast included):
In the morning we move to the archaeological site of Palenque to visit one of the most important Mayan cities. End of service (Breakfast).
If you wish, we can return you to the City of San Cristóbal de las Casas.

This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
