After pickup from your hotel in Cancun or Puerto Morelos, your guide will drive you the 1 hour to Akumal Bay, a natural habitat for sea turtles. As you gear up, your guide will give you an overview and explain the rules of interacting respectfully with the turtles.
Then, it’s just a short swim from the beach to where the turtles are. Free of strong waves and cloudy water, this is the perfect location to admire the beauty and grace of these animals as they interact and feed on seaweed at the bottom of the sea.
