Try diving and discover the wonder of the underwater world. Have you ever fancied the thought of scuba diving? Wanted to discover what it feels like to breathe underwater? Then this experience is for you.
This Try Dive Experience provides you with the opportunity to do so in a short 2-hour session, introducing you to the underwater world with a PADI Instructor. Upon completion, receive an electronic certificate and undertake further dives with your New Dimension Scuba Instructor to a maximum depth of 12 meters whilst on your holiday in Malta.
Plus, if you decide to move on to the open water course, your Try Dive experience may be able to be used as credit towards that course.
As long as you are at least 10 years old and in good health, you can go scuba diving. Check the medical form before booking.
Start with online theory to learn the basics of diving. Then, get an equipment orientation and a pre-dive briefing at the dive center. All equipment needed for your dive is provided.
Dive on the house reef which includes the shallow confined skill practice before heading out further to explore for the open water dive.
After your first dive Discover Scuba Diving experience, complete a 2nd Discover Scuba Dive with your PADI Instructor. This can be done at another dive site to a maximum depth of 12 meters.
Take your diving to the next level with the PADI Open Water Diver course. Successful completion will qualify you to dive to a maximum depth of 18 meters, all over the world, with any other certified diver - opening up a wealth of new dive sites for you to explore.

Please read the medical questions below before booking. A "yes" answer may require a doctor's approval of fitness to dive before taking part:
1. problems with lungs, breathing, heart or blood affecting physical or mental performance
2. over 45 years of age AND either smoke, have high blood pressure, high cholesterol, or a family history of heart attack / stroke before age 50
3. struggle to perform moderate exercise
4. problems with my eyes, ears, or nasal passages/sinuses
5. surgery within the last 12 months, OR I have ongoing problems related to past surgery
6. lost consciousness, had migraine headaches, seizures, stroke, significant head injury, or suffer from persistent neurologic injury or disease
7. treatment within the last five years for psychological problems or addiction, or a learning disability diagnosis
8. back problems, hernia, ulcers, or diabetes
9. stomach or intestine problems, or recent diarrhea
10. taking prescription medications (excluding birth control)

When should I book?
To guarantee availability book as soon as possible. Early booking is worth consideration especially if you planning the trip during high season like public holidays or weekends.
Cancellations
This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
