Day 1: Dubrovnik – Mostar – Montenegrin Riviera
After having experienced the unique medieval town of Dubrovnik independently, you will be picked up from your hotel to be driven to the border where you will meet your tour leader. Head towards the city of Mostar, visiting the iconic Old Bridge also known as Stari Most, part of UNESCO world heritage. After Mostar, cross the border towards Montenegro. Overnight near the Montenegrin Riviera.
Day 2: Montenegrin Riviera – Kotor – Budva – Sveti Stefan – Shkodra (Albania)
The first destination for today is Kotor, which is also a UNESCO world heritage site. Wander through the maze of narrow, cobblestone streets crisscrossing the old town before heading to Budva, famous for its beaches, gorgeous nature, and old characteristic buildings.
On the way to Albania, make a stop near Sveti Stefan, historically a fishing town on a small island near the coast and is worth a picture. Overnight in Shkoder, Albania.
Day 3: Shkodra – Kruje - Tirana
After breakfast, visit the city of Shkoder, situated in the north-western part of Albania, giving its name to the biggest lake in the Balkans. After, head towards Kruja, situated in central Albania on a rocky mountainous terrain about 560 meters above sea level. Walking through the narrow streets and the wooden houses of Kruja’s Medieval Old Bazaar (one of the biggest and oldest in the Balkans) gives you a sense of a passage through the history. This is the best place to shop for souvenirs in Albania. Overnight in Tirana.
Day 4: Day tour of Tirana
Discover Tirana, the capital of Albania and enjoy a unique experience in the city while learning more about the city's culinary treasures. Have the opportunity to try Byrek, Albanian coffee, traditional lunch, and of course, Albanian Raki. Visit BUNKART, one of the most interesting museums in Tirana. Initially designed as a nuclear bunker offering shelter to the Albanian communist supreme leader. Overnight in Tirana.
Day 5: Tirana – Berat – Ohrid
Today, visit Berat, known as the town of 1001 windows, part of UNESCO world heritage before driving towards Ohrid, in N. Macedonia, indicated as one of the oldest human settlements in all of Europe. Overnight in Ohrid.
Day 6: Ohrid – Skopje– Prizren (Kosovo)
The tour continues towards Skopje, the capital of N. Macedonia. The city has European, Ottoman, and even Asian influences. Overnight in Prizren.
Day 7: Day tour of Prizren – Montenegro Riviera
Prizren is considered as the cultural capital of Kosovo where the river flows through the heart of the old town and under the many bridges that crisscross the city. After exploring Prizren, first cross the border towards Albania then Montenegro. Overnight in Montenegro Riviera.
