Discover the Anykščiai area, and you will discover the heart of Lithuania. This day trip from Vilnius will show you all the most important sights in this historic and beautiful town.
Your tour begins with pick-up in Vilnius from a central location, followed by a 90 km drive to Anykščiai. Once there, visit the tallest church in Lithuania, the church of St. Matthew the Apostle. Visit some of the local museums and historical sites, to learn about the historical and cultural heritage of the town.
There will be a brief stop for lunch in a local restaurant, before visits to further attractions, including the treetop walking path - the only treetop path in Eastern Europe. The 300-meter path follows the level of the tree crowns, 21 meters above the ground.
