DAY 1: Chiang Rai to Huay Xai by Van It takes about 2-3 hours.
- The van will be pick you up at Pick-up Point (Bus Terminal 2) to Chiang Khong Thailand Border.
- Upon arrival at the Chiang Khong border, our staff will assist you in crossing the border to Huay Xai, on the Laos border.
- Once you arrive, you will need to apply for a visa. Afterward, our staff will to take you to the slow boat a for your slow boat journey down the Mekong River. And You'll stop and spend the night in Pakbeng (it’s recommended to book accommodation in advance).
DAY 2: Pak Beng to Luang Prabang by Slow Boat.
- You should come to check in before 8:30 a.m.
- Continue your slow boat journey to Luang Prabang.
- Before reaching Luang Prabang The boat stops at Pak Ou Cave, another important tourist attraction in Luang Prabang.
- You will arrive in Luang Prabang around 5:00 PM.
