Chichen Itza is a well-known archaeological site and has been selected by UNESCO as a World Heritage site since July 7, 2007. Visit a kind of archaeological dream that will take you among sensational monuments full of questions even today: the Ball Game Court, the road that leads to the Sacred Cenote, the sculptures and stone relieves, the House of the Nuns or the heads of the Feathered Serpent (Quetzalcoatl or Kukulcan).
Chichen Itza has played an important role in understanding Mayan and Mexican history, making it a top tour in the Riviera Maya and an excellent local experience.
After Chichen Itza, we drive to the colonial town of Valladolid. We will walk through its historical streets, enjoy a tasty lunch and go souvenir shopping for local products at the artisans' markets. We can also visit its cenote that is well taken care of.
•8:30 am - Meeting point at the guests' lodging.
•10:45 am - Visit Chichen Itza.
•2:30 pm - Eat lunch in Valladolid.
•3:30 pm - Walk by "Calzada de los Frailes" in downtown Valladolid and check out the artisans' markets.
•6:00 pm - Tour ends, back to the guests' lodging.

Cancellations
This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
