7-Day Mount Kenya Camping Adventure Safari

Day 01: Nairobi- Samburu

Upon arrival, airport pickup is provided, and pre-tour accommodation is available at an additional fee. Departing Nairobi at 7am, journey north to Samburu Game Reserve, arriving at the camp by midday where a private chef prepares lunch for relaxation. Enjoy an afternoon game drive in the reserve, known for its distinctive wildlife like Grévy's zebra and the rare reticulated giraffe.

Day 02: Samburu

Prepare for an adventure in the Samburu Game Reserve! Immerse yourself in the serene landscapes and discover the diverse array of wildlife habitats. Make sure to seize the chance to refresh yourself in the pristine waters of Buffalo Spring and enjoy a playful splash in its crystal-clear pools.

Day 03: Samburu – Mount Kenya hike

After breakfast, head to Mount Kenya's Sirimon Gate at 2,650m altitude. Trek 9km through forests, bamboo groves, and heather, ascending 740m. Encounter buffaloes, elephants, and bird species. Reach 3,600m near Old Moses Camp for views of Nelion and Batian. Return 9km to Sirimon Gate for camping.

Day 04: Mount Kenya - Lake Naivasha

Following breakfast, embark on a scenic drive that includes Thomson Falls and the breathtaking Rift Valley cliffs. Next, enjoy a delightful lunch by Lake Naivasha. Spend the afternoon at the picturesque and rugged Hell's Gate National Park, where adventurous souls can opt to rent bikes for further exploration.

Day 05: Lake Naivasha - Masai Mara National Reserve

After breakfast, you'll go to Masai Mara, arriving for lunch at the camp where your chef prepares a feast. Enjoy the scenery before an afternoon safari drive with your driver in Masai Mara National Reserve.

Day 06: Masai Mara

Rise early for a thrilling full-day Masai Mara game drive, spotting the Big Five and wildebeest. Pack a picnic lunch before venturing out. Explore all day for exciting wildlife encounters and nature's wonders.

Day 07: Masai Mara- Nairobi

Begin your final day in the Masai Mara with an early-morning safari adventure. Following this, savor a satisfying meal before embarking on your onward journey to Nairobi. En route, indulge in moments of awe as you take in the majestic vistas of the Rift Valley escarpment before reaching your destination at the airport.
