Day 1:
Begin your safari in Nairobi with an airport or hotel pick-up and transfer to Wilson Airport for an onward flight to Amboseli Airstrip. A driver will be waiting to transfer you to the camp. Check-in and embark on a mid-morning activity: a guided conservancy walk.
Return to the camp for lunch and a brief freshen up before heading for an afternoon game drive. Return to the lodge for an evening sundowner, and later a bush dining experience and overnight stay.
Day 2:
Wake up early for a game drive. After breakfast, visit the Elerai Conservancy Community. Return to the camp for lunch and relax. In the afternoon, go on a game drive or mountain biking. Enjoy an early dinner and a night game drive before an overnight stay.
Day 3:
Wake up to an early start after breakfast and go on a guided game drive in Amboseli National Park. Amboseli is a haven for birders, filled with tens of recorded bird species and the swamp around Ol Tukai Lodge attracts many wading birds such as the black duck, storks, and pink flamingoes.
Have a picnic lunch at Observation Hill, where you will have a 360-degree view of the Amboseli. On a clear day, you can catch a clear view of the towering Mount Kilimanjaro. Return in the evening for dinner and an overnight stay at Elerai Camp.
Day 4:
Make arrangements with the camp butler for an early morning game drive. Return to camp for breakfast, and head to your room for freshening up then after ensuring you are all packed up. Check out and be transferred to Amboseli Airstrip for an onward flight to Nairobi's Wilson Airport. An airport transfer is available in Nairobi to connect you to the JKIA or your Nairobi stay.
