Our driver will pick you from your hotels/ residents at 8:00am which is the time our activity starts and drive towards Ngong road past Uchumi Supermarket. Visit the Soweto homestead , then continue to Curio Workshop where you will witness those who live in Kibera are innovative in making ornaments using animal bones. Continue with visits to the nursery schools and pass by water vendor.
Feel welcomed in one of the Kibera homes where you will get to interact and may ask questions about their day -to -day living. Walk and see a biogas plant, which uses human waste as raw material in the production of biogas used in cooking and lighting about 200 homesteads once is accomplished and commissioned.
Later after the tour you may have your lunch at Mama Rocks gourment burgers which offers handmade burgers (at own cost). Later you will be driven back to your hotels full of memories.
