After being picked up from your hotel in Nairobi, head to the Giraffe Center where you can see giraffes living in a semi-wild state. Learn about their behavior, characteristics and conservation efforts. You'll also have the opportunity to feed these gentle giants. Next, head to the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust. Stroll through the center where tiny statues wait to be fed. Watch them play in the water, swish milk, and learn each elephant's personal story.
Once the youngest is full, it's time to feed the 2-3 year olds, some of whom are old enough to feed themselves. Watch them put giant milk bottles in their luggage and quickly drink gallons of milk. The last stop before returning to Nairobi is the Kazuri Bead Factory. Opportunity to admire beautiful beads and pottery handmade by African women.
