Embark on a 4-day safari from Nairobi to Amboseli National Park. See the wildlife of Nairobi National Park, visit the David Sheldrick Elephant Orphanage, and enjoy game drives in Amboseli National Park.
On Day 1, be picked up from your hotel in Nairobi and head to Nairobi National Park. Take an exciting 4-hour game drive through the park. Stay on the lookout for many species of game animals, including black rhinos, lions, leopards, cheetahs, hyenas, buffalos, giraffes, and zebras.
The park’s open border on its southeast perimeter allows a corridor for the natural migration of game animals during the seasonal rains. Don’t miss this chance to get up close with some of Kenya's amazing wildlife.
Other attractions include the ivory burning site monument and walking trails at hippo pools. Then visit the David Sheldrick Elephant Orphanage, Kobes Beads factory, and the Giraffe Center. After the day tour, be transferred back to your hotel in Nairobi.
On Day 2, leave Nairobi early in the morning and head south to the home of Africa’s gentle giants, the African elephant. Arrive at the lodge in time for lunch and later on head for an evening game drive. Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay at the lodge.
On Day 3, wake up to the royal court of Africa’s highest mountain, Mount Kilimanjaro. Amboseli National Park is the best place to see big herds of elephants. The swamps attract this magnificent creature that find themselves living in this vast semi-arid ecosystem.
The dusty plains also play host to cheetahs and lions amongst the big cats. On early morning game drives, you have a higher chance of seeing the rarer mammals like the honey badger, African wildcat, African civet, and others.
Leave the camp or lodge at the earliest legal times with a packed breakfast to catch the morning serenity. Enjoy the beautiful African sunrise in the open plains and breakfast in the wild with enchanting views.
In Amboseli conservation area, see the dry lake Amboseli that offers good elephant photography opportunities as well as other herbivores that you may come across in the vast dry lake bed. Amboseli also offers unmatched photography opportunities, the golden light spiced with the dust as the animals move into and out of the swamp in the morning and in the evening, which happens to be their daily migration routine. Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay at the lodge.
On Day 4, enjoy early morning game drives after breakfast. As you bid kwa heri (bye) to Mount Kilimanjaro with the elephants and giraffes in the foreground, drive back to Nairobi or your drop-off point.
