We organize for you a memorable day of Nairobi wildlife safari tour. This memorable experience includes a visit to the famous David Shedrick wildlife trust, Giraffe centre and an optional Karen Blixen Museum or bomas of Kenya your.
Places You Will Visit,
1)The David Sheldrick wildlife Trust.
The Sheldrick wildlife trust operate an orphan rescue and wildlife rehabilitation program in Kenya. You have a chance to see the baby elephants and learn the efforts to introduce them back to the wilderness.
2)Giraffes Centre.
Here you will be visiting the Roth's child giraffes an endangered species where you will be able to feed it and have a close up with them. You will also learn about their conservation.
3)Bomas of Kenya.
The Bomas of Kenya is a must-visit place for all visitors to the country. Situated 10km from Nairobi's city center, Langata. The Bomas of Kenya lets you discover the wonderful diversity of cultures that make up this fascinating country such us Arab-influenced Swahili taarab music, Kalenjin warrior dance and Embu drumming and many more.
At Bomas different aspects of Kenyan culture are displayed including living styles, crafts, music, and dancing. The word Bomas was derived from a Swahili word for enclosed homestead and there are now many different Bomas, each one representing one of Kenya's major ethnic groups. Do not miss the most exciting traditional dances and acrobatic shows, which start at 2.30pm to 4.00pm during weekdays and 3.30pm to 5.15pm during weekends and public holidays.
4)Karen Blixen Museum. (Optional)
You will also have be driven to Karen Blixen Museum which is located at the foot of the Ngong hills. Karen Blixen Museum is the former African home of Danish author Karen Blixen, famous for her 1937 book out of Africa. Entrance fee for this site is not included but we are happy to drive you here at no extra cost.
5)Kazuri Beads Factory.
This is also another optional extra activity. This is a pottery company that makes one of the world most beautiful beads. It's a very unique factory as it employs single mothers from the poor neighborhood who earn a living to support their families.
