2 Days Amboseli Elephant Encounter Safari

Venture into Amboseli where the majestic silhouette images of snowy Mount Kilimanjaro presides over vast herds of elephants and varied wildlife roaming free through tremendous swamps and open plains.
Indulge in an elephant focused game drive in Amboseli where you watch the gentle giants closely as they forage, play and bathe in the numerous swamps dotting the park. Get introduced to individual herds of wandering elephants on comprehensive game drives and attempt to capture their photographs in front of the majestic snow Capped Mount Kilimanjaro. Amboseli ecosystem is believed host a population of about 1,600 elephants. The Park is also rich in birdlife for its 450 species recorded. Enjoy watching a variety of other wildlife including Lions, fox cheetah, hyenas, and jackals. Buffalo, Eland, wildebeeste, Giraffes, Zebras and a big number of other mammalian species in this incredible nature reserve.

DAY 1: Nairobi- Amboseli National park. {Road trip 260Km}.
7:30 am: We depart Nairobi for an interesting drive eastwards, enjoy breathtaking scenery of open plains just after driving past the Nairobi metropolitan district, we then proceed on heading south of the Athi plains and passing through the towns of Emali and Kimana to finally arrive at our Amboseli camp or lodge in good time for Lunch. Early afternoon will be at leisure before proceeding for an afternoon game drive at 3:00pm until sunset. Dinner, bonfire and overnight in Amboseli.

Day2: Amboseli- Game drive- Nairobi. {Road trip 280 Km}.
6:00 am: Coffee is served early in Amboseli followed by an early morning game drive. This morning presents a great opportunity to witness a beautiful golden sunrise and a marvelous view of Mount Kilimanjaro, we then proceed on to enjoy the morning activities of animals and possibly capture predator hunting attempts and elephant caravan treks, we shall continue with the game drive until mid-morning when we return to camp for proper breakfast and to prepare for our departure to Nairobi.

11:00am: We start our journey back to Nairobi with an option to pass by a traditional Masai village {Manyatta} for a typical cultural interaction; this involves a cultural lecture, traditional rites, village tour and brilliant dances and jumping performances.
Later we proceed on with our Journey with a scheduled lunch stop and a plan to arrive Nairobi in the evening.
This marks the end of 2 days adventure tour of Amboseli full of excitement and pleasant memories.
