Embark on a 3-day safari from Mombasa to Tsavo West National Park. Enjoy game drives and walking safaris in Mzima Springs to see the Big Five and other wildlife. Day 1: Pick up from your hotel or airport in Mombasa to begin your adventure. Drive to Tsavo West National Park via the Nairobi-Mombasa Highway. Admire the beautiful scenery of eastern Kenya and spot wildlife along the way. After a 5-hour drive, we arrived at the town of Voi and went straight to the main entrance of Tsavo West National Park. Take a game drive on the way to your hotel. After lunch, drive to Severin Safari Camp, check in, and head out to see the wildlife. Return to hotel for buffet dinner and overnight. Day 2: Spend a full day exploring Tsavo West National Park, which is more popular for its scenic beauty and rich vegetation. The park is home to Africa's Big Five, including lions, elephants, buffalo, rhinos and leopards. See other large animals such as giraffes, zebras, hyenas, cheetahs, hippos, crocodiles, eland, lesser kudu, waterbuck and wildebeest. The park is also home to a variety of birds, including rare birds such as corncrakes, Basra's reed warblers and secretary birds. Day 3: Wake up early for breakfast before driving to Mzima Springs for a walking safari. Mzima Spring is the source of the Tsavo River and is home to fish, hippos and crocodiles. Lunch will be served at a stopover restaurant outside the park on the way to Mombasa. Then depart for Nairobi, arriving in the late afternoon and dropped off at your respective hotels.
