Bomas of Kenya is a tourist village in Langata, Nairobi. Bomas (homesteads) displays traditional villages belonging to the several Kenyan tribes. The Bomas of Kenya lets you discover the wonderful diversity of cultures that make up this fascinating country such us Arab-influenced Swahili taarab music, Kalenjin warrior dance and Embu drumming and many more.
The word Bomas was derived from a Swahili word for enclosed homestead and there are now many different Bomas, each one representing one of Kenya's major ethnic groups.
