Embark on a scenic day trip to Amboseli National Park from Nairobi. Look for the majestic giant elephants crossing the road in front of your safari vehicle on the backdrop of Mount Kilimanjaro. Also be on the lookout for giraffes, zebras, lions, wildebeest, hippos, gazelles, antelopes, cheetahs, and many bird species including flamingos and pelicans.
Start your day with a pick-up from your hotel in Nairobi at 6:00 AM. Drive by road in a customized safari vehicle towards Amboseli National Park for 3.5 hours. Enjoy the view of the countryside en route, which includes numerous hills and Maasai livestock grazing by the roadside. Make a short washroom and gift shop stopover before proceeding.
Arrive at the park entrance, pay the entrance fees, and begin your experience with the roof opened by your guide for great animal viewing and photography. Enjoy a guided game drive for about 5 hours. Climb to the Observation Hill and get a panoramic view of the whole park in one glance.
Exit the park and pass by a Maasai cultural village to learn how they lived from early years. Drive back to Nairobi and be dropped off at your hotel at around 6:00 PM.
