Description
Travel to Lake Nakuru, a park famously known for its pinks flamingos, black rhino, and other wildlife. Following your Lake Nakaru safari, finish on a high note by visiting the famous Masai Mara National Reserve.
Day 1:
Your tour begins as you are picked up from your accommodation in Nairobi. From there, drive to Masai Mara with a stopover at the Great Rift Valley, before continuing through Longonot and Suswa, making another stopover at Narok to refuel. Arrive to Mara in time for lunch, following which you proceed for an evening game drive. The park is popular for the Big Five: lions, elephant, leopards, buffalo, and rhinos. At the conclusion of your safari, return to camp just in time for dinner.
Day 2:
Your day begins with an early morning game drive in the grasslands, followed by breakfast back at the camp. Following breakfast, head out for a game drive in the park in search of its popular resident predators, as well as prey such as zebra, wildebeest, and giraffes.
A packed lunch is consumed while you are on the safari, which is followed by a visit to the Mara River - well known for its dangerous crocodiles that provide ample kill-viewing experiences. Your day later comes to an end with a delicious dinner and overnight rest at your camp.
Day 3:
The destination for your third day is the famous Lake Nakuru. Start your day early with a quick breakfast, before beginning the 6-hour journey covering a distance of about 340 kilometers to Lake Nakuru. Upon reaching Lake Nakuru in the afternoon, take a break for a scrumptious lunch followed by a few hours to rest after checking in to your lodge.
Early in the evening, head out on your game drive to see one of the world’s largest ornithological sites. The Lake Nakuru region is extremely famous for its flamingo and diverse wildlife, but what adds even more awe to the area is the black and white rhinos. Your eventful day later comes to an end with a freshly prepared dinner and overnight rest at the camp.
Day 4:
Following another early morning breakfast, take a game drive en-route to Nairobi City. Stop-overs will be made in some towns, providing you with the chance to buy souvenirs. Your arrival to Nairobi takes place late in the afternoon, at which point you are transferred to either the airport or your accommodation.
