The main attraction in Nyahururu, and the highlight of your journey, is Thompson Falls, a stunning waterfall that plunges 74 meters (243 feet) into a deep gorge below. The falls are named after Joseph Thompson, a Scottish explorer who was the first European to visit the area in 1883. The sight of the water cascading over the edge of the cliff into the lush green ravine below is truly breathtaking, and the sound of the roaring water creates a sense of awe and tranquility.
