There is no taxi service on Wadi Rum; all taxi depart from Aqaba. therefore, there may be instances of waiting time as a result of traffic congestion and checkpoints.

This taxi can fit up to four people if carried in a in a small bag. If you have a lot of luggage, the seat may not be available because the space is used to hold your bags, so the number of people in the taxi will be reduced. Please be informed that this is a normal sedan car.

The taxi can drop you off anywhere on the map within the city centre zone, including your hotels, airport, the south beach, Aqaba Nuweiba Ferry Terminal, and Aqaba-Eilat border crossing.

The first option to get pick up would be Wadi Rum Rest House, located in Wadi Rum Village, a 6 km drive from Wadi Rum Visitor Centre. The location of the meet up is the Wadi Rum Rest House as indicated on the reservation maps. At Wadi Rum Rest House, our driver will be awaiting your arrival and will request the name that was provided on the reservation. If you prefer second option, our taxi driver can meet you at the Wadi Rum Visitor Center.

When should I book?

To guarantee availability book as soon as possible. Early booking is worth consideration especially if you planning the trip during high season like public holidays or weekends.


Cancellations

This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
