Begin your 10-hour tour with a drive from Amman to Madaba. Madaba is one of the oldest towns in the Middle East, and home to a number of churches. Many are now in ruin, but you can still see extraordinary mosaics from the 7th and 8th centuries.
Visit the St. George and Martyrs churches, and later the Mount Nebo Church. Take in views of the Holy Land and the Jordan River Valley from the summit. Jericho is usually visible, and on a clear day you may see Jerusalem.
Continue to the Jordan River Baptism Site, and then the Dead Sea for an amazing panoramic view. Stop at the Dead Sea Beach for an hour to relax and enjoy lunch, before heading back to Amman.
