Nestled in the southeastern region of Nagano, Cloud Field Pond, also known as the Swan Lake, is an idyllic spot perfect for a forest bath. In the summer, the lake dons a green gown, set against the azure sky, with the tender green leaves by the lake complementing the crystal-clear waters. As autumn arrives, the pond transforms into a vision of red, with the maple leaves reflecting in the jade waters, creating a natural landscape painting。

Harunire Terrace:
For lunch, we invite you to Harunire Terrace, a shopping area set amidst over 100 wild elm trees. This commercial facility, themed around experiencing the daily life of Karuizawa, houses 16 unique shops, including restaurants, cafes, and boutiques. It's a healing space where you can rest on benches under the shade of the riverside trees and enjoy a well-maintained walking path that allows you to immerse in the beauty of nature. Throughout the year, Harunire Terrace hosts various events, such as the "Karuizawa Umbrella Sky" during the rainy season and a spectacular Christmas light show in winter。
Hoshino Onsen:
Known as the "Beauty Spring," Hoshino Onsen, operated by the Hoshino Resorts, offers a luxurious bathing experience. Situated at the foot of the mountains, you can immerse yourself in the open-air bath with a breathtaking view. The indoor bath, with its expansive glass windows, allows you to take in the outdoor scenery. Please note that the cost for the onsen is not included: adults 1300 yen (1500 yen in August)。

After a day of shopping or relaxation, we'll continue to Kawagoe, known as "Little Edo" for its well-preserved architecture that takes you back to the Edo period. Stroll through the streets lined with traditional "kura" storehouses and "yagura" turrets, and immerse yourself in the atmosphere of a bygone era.

Return to Tokyo:
As the day draws to a close, we'll board our coach for the return trip to Tokyo, filled with memories of a day well-spent exploring the best that Japan's countryside has to offer. This is more than just a day trip; it's a journey through time and a celebration of Japan's diverse cultural tapestry.
