Your guide, a graduate in Japanese History and/or certified, will explain the ins and outs of these places, built in the 8th century, and dedicated to Inari, the goddess of rice and harvests, and by extension of trade. It will also be an opportunity for us to go hiking in the countryside and in the mountains.

Wear comfortable walking shoes as there will be a lot of walking.
Bring water and snacks as there are limited shops along the trail.
Be prepared for the weather; bring sunscreen and a hat during summer, and a jacket during cooler months.
The hike can take 2-3 hours depending on your pace and how often you stop for photos.
Respect the sacred site; follow the guide's instructions and do not litter.
When should I book?
To guarantee availability book as soon as possible. Early booking is worth consideration especially if you planning the trip during high season like public holidays or weekends.
Cancellations
This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
