[Important notice] Passport number is required when taking the icebreaker GARINKO GO Ⅲ. Be sure to bring your passport with you on the day or write down your passport number in advance. The staff on the day will ask you for your passport number. Please understand that if you cannot provide your passport number, you will not be able to board the ship.
Please note that only [Japanese service] is provided. Translator services are available for languages other than Japanese.
If the drift ice crusher ship is suspended due to weather or other reasons: 3,000 yen for adults/2,000 yen for children will be refunded, and a visit to the Okhotsk Drift Ice Science Center "Giza" will be arranged instead.
If you are unable to go to Monbetsu due to road conditions: 3,000 yen for adults and 2,000 yen for children will be refunded, and you can go to the Sounkyo Icefall Festival instead.

When should I book?
To guarantee availability book as soon as possible. Early booking is worth consideration especially if you planning the trip during high season like public holidays or weekends.
Cancellations
This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
