You will have a casual tea gathering at a table , enjoy selected Japanese confectionery and matcha prepared by the guide. After that, you will have the opportunity to experience making tea.
④ A Brief Overview of Post-Bomb Reconstruction
The shop, located about a 5-minute walk from the Atomic Bomb Dome, suffered significant damage due to the bombing. During the tour, we will also explain the shop's recovery from the atomic bombing.

Request for tea room visit:You can visit the tearoom that is actually used for tea ceremonies. Please note that shoes cannot be worn on the tatami mat
and you can’t step on the tatami mat barefoot, so please bring socks to wear instead. You can also borrow socks.
It‘s about a 5-minute walk from the Atomic Bomb Dome. From the Hiroshima Electric Railway’s Atomic Bomb Dome-mae Station(on National Route 183) , cross Aioi Bridge, pass by the Honkawa-cho Station and Lawson Hiroshima Hongawa-cho Store, then Takaki(高木)is on the left-hand side of the next block. From Hiroshima Station, disembark at Honkawa-cho Station on the Hiroshima Electric Railway Miyajima Line. Upon crossing to the Lawson, proceed to the right-hand side, and the Takaki will be on your left.Please enter through the entrance and take the stairs on the right to the second floor.
When should I book?
To guarantee availability book as soon as possible. Early booking is worth consideration especially if you planning the trip during high season like public holidays or weekends.
Cancellations
This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
