Description

Tokyo seems to be a peaceful place, but just under the surface lies a fascinating history filled with heinous crimes and the ghost stories they spawned. Venture with me into the darkness on this tour.
On this walking tour of Tokyo, we will see the sites of some of the most famous and gruesome crimes in Tokyo's history, ranging from ones that would get you put in jail for life, and some that would put you in front of a war crimes tribunal.

The tour starts in Japan's orgnized crime capital, Shinjuku's Kabukicho district. Here we will learn about gang wars, shocking murders, and violent real estate schemes.

From there we will walk to Japan's mini-Auschwitz, Toyama Park, a place shrowded in mystery and home to the ghosts of the victims of Unit 731's terrible human experimentation projects.

Finally, we will visit Aoyama Cemetery for some good ol' fashioned Japanese ghost stories in the perfect setting for them. We will also visit the grave of Japan's favorite and most loyal dog, Hachiko.

Come with me and we'll explore Japan's seedy underbelly together!

If you tire easily, or are easily grossed-out, I do not recommend this tour. We will be walking quite a bit, and we'll be talking about sensitive subjects along the way.
