Manga Art Workshop in a Traditional Tokyo House

This workshop welcomes both beginners and experienced artists alike, offering a 120-minute experience with English interpretation available.

Located conveniently close to Akihabara, Ikebukuro, and Asakusa, it's recommended that you combine this experience with an afternoon of sightseeing. The workshop provides all the necessary professional manga tools such as G-pen, ink, manuscript paper, screen tones and more, so there's no need for you to bring anything along.

This intimate manga production experience takes place in a traditional old house, providing an irreplaceable insight into Japanese culture. The masterpiece you create will serve as a wonderful souvenir of your time in Japan.

Schedule
1. Show up directly at the meeting point, the house of the professional manga artist.
2. Once at the House, the Sensei will briefly explain the schedule of the lesson, the materials, what you will draw and the objectives.
3. Now it’s time to choose your tools! All professional manga tools (G-pen, ink, manga manuscript paper, screen tones, etc.) are provided, so you don't need to bring anything!
4. You are now ready! Roll up your sleeves and start the drawing lesson!
5. The teacher will guide you through all the steps and teach you some of the techniques used by most Japanese manga artists.
6. Both beginners and experienced artists are welcome.
7. The 120-minute experience is available with English interpretation, so no worries about the language barrier.
8. Your finished work will be a wonderful souvenir of your trip to Japan.
9. The workshop is close to Akihabara, Ikebukuro and Asakusa. Once the lesson is over, you can plan to do some sightseeing in the afternoon.

To guarantee availability book as soon as possible. Early booking is worth consideration especially if you planning the trip during high season like public holidays or weekends.

This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
