Arakurayama Sengen Park is often dubbed as one of the '21 Places Photographers Must Visit'. It stands as the perfect vantage point to behold the breathtaking majesty of Mt. Fuji. Ascend the 397 steps near the main hall, and the 'Chureito Pagoda' with its five-tiered structure comes into view. From this spot, you can capture 'Chureito Pagoda, Mt. Fuji, and the cityscape' all in one frame. Photographers and tourists from around the globe flock here, not only for the cherry blossoms in spring but also to witness the lush greenery of summer, the fiery foliage of autumn, and the snow-covered landscapes of winter. In addition to the stunning views of Mt. Fuji, you can also overlook the charming streets of Fujiyoshida city.
13:20PM Mt. Fuji 5th Station - Closer to Majestic Heights (Only for 4/26 - 9/30)
Located halfway up Mt. Fuji at an elevation of 2,305 meters, the 5th Station offers a unique perspective of Japan's highest peak. Whether seen from afar or up close, Mt. Fuji captivates with its ever-changing vistas. On clear, cloudless days, the surrounding landscapes, including Lake Kawaguchi, stretch out below, revealing their awe-inspiring beauty. When clouds and mist roll in, you can witness the enchanting spectacle of a sea of clouds.
14:40PM Yamanakako Hot Springs with a View of Mt. Fuji (Hot Spring fee at your own expense)
Nestled in the Fuji Five Lakes region, Lake Yamanaka is the largest and shallowest of the five lakes, with a depth of just 13.3 meters. This unique lake features a natural river outflow. What makes Yamanaka truly enchanting is the breathtaking view of Mt. Fuji mirrored in its waters, with the mountain's majestic ridges stretching from left to right. Despite the cold, this lake welcomes swans, known as 'white birds' in Japan, during the months of February to April for nesting.
