Uncover Kendo's rich history: Learn about brief Kendo history, Reiho, refined behaviours for Kendo, and the Bushido Spirit.
Kendo Experience (Kendo striking practice): Wear Kendo protective armours such as Dogi/Hakama (Kendo uniform), Men (Kendo mask), Kote (arm protectors), Do (torso protector), and Tare (leg protector). Use Shinai (bamboo sword) to strike each other.
Strike and compete based on the match format

・Wearing Kendo protective armours
・Lectures about Kendo
・Brief practice of using Shinai and instructions of basic footwork, and Kendo rule
・Striking practice in pairs
・Match (Combat game)
・Taking photographs with Kendo protective armours and free Japanese hand towel will be provided

This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
