Visit Nara Park
Explore Nara Park, a vast area covering 660 hectares, famous for its freely roaming deer. These deer are considered sacred and are protected due to their connection to the legend of the white deer at Kasuga Taisha Shrine. They have been designated as national natural treasures.

Stroll Through Kasuga Taisha Shrine
Located within Nara Park, Kasuga Taisha is a historic shrine built in 710 by Fujiwara no Fuhito to honor the patron deities of the Fujiwara family, a powerful clan during that era. The shrine is renowned for its wisteria flowers and features beautifully adorned lanterns. It enshrines several deities, including Takemikazuchi-no-Mikoto, Futsunushi-no-Mikoto, Ame-no-Koyane-no-Mikoto, and Himegami.

Visit Kiyomizu-Dera
Next, visit Kiyomizu-Dera, one of Kyoto's most famous temples, renowned for its massive wooden stage that juts out from the main hall, offering breathtaking views of the city and surrounding scenery. Founded in 778, the temple is part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site "Historic Monuments of Ancient Kyoto" and is particularly stunning during cherry blossom and autumn foliage seasons.
*Please note that admission tickets to Kiyomizu-Dera are not included.*

Discover Fushimi Inari Taisha
Finally, head to Fushimi Inari Taisha, famous for its iconic "Senbon Torii" (a thousand torii gates). These vibrant vermilion gates form a picturesque pathway up Mount Inari, creating a mesmerizing experience as they intertwine with nature. Accompanied by numerous fox statues, the site is a unique blend of spiritual heritage and stunning visual artistry, especially under sunlight.
