Our restaurant is located in a renovated traditional Japanese house where, surrounded by silence, you'll be able to relax and forget about time for a little while. With a high-end sushi-like counter and tea room, you can compare five types of Japanese tea and even make your own matcha. We're sure you'll find a favorite!

Some teas are aromatic, such as matcha, while others are easy to drink with roasted tea leaves. Enjoy a flight tasting of five different kinds of Japanese tea, all selected by a Japanese tea master. Choose your favorite of the five and receive a specially prepared pot of tea. The tea is then served by the master in a way that brings out the best flavor of the tea leaves.

Enhance the flavor of the tea with one of our traditional Japanese sweets, all locally sourced here in Nara.

Everything in our restaurant is made in Nara, from the serving utensils, trays, tea leaves, sweets, and furnishings. In particular, we use traditional crafts that have been handed down for hundreds of years. You can also purchase any of the items in our restaurant on our online store.
