Itinerary
We begin the tour at Sanjusangendo Temple, known for its impressive hall with 1,001 statues of Kannon, the goddess of mercy. This temple is a wonderful example of Japanese Buddhist architecture and art.
Our next stop is the famous Kiyomizudera Temple, a World Heritage Site. With its large terrace stretching over a cliff, it offers breathtaking panoramic views of Kyoto, especially in the cherry blossom season.
We will continue our tour with a visit to the majestic Yasaka Pagoda, located in the heart of the Higashiyama district. This historic site is perfect for soaking up the traditional atmosphere of Kyoto, surrounded by beautiful temples and teahouses.
The last stop will be Gingakuji Temple (Silver Pavilion Temple) is an iconic Zen temple in Kyoto, Japan, built in 1482. Surrounded by serene moss gardens and a dry landscape of white sand, it symbolizes Zen spirituality. It is a designated UNESCO World Heritage Site, standing out as a Japanese cultural treasure.
