By Japanese law, all non Japanese must carry their passport / ID with them at all times (usually a copy is good enough for safety).

Just to the right of the steps leading to Yasaka Jinja, look for the coffee shop called "Gion Coffee Nanafuku' We will meet just out front. Please look for guide holding a sign that says 'Nippon Navigators'.
When should I book?
