You will pass the main square Piazza Tasso, named after a very famous Italian poet born here and you will follow the main street Corso Italia until you will drive up on the Sorrento hills in order to reach the amazing Amalfi Coast, considered the most beautiful drive in the world, for a stop to the romantic Positano and the delightful Amalfi. on the way you will be faceing the gulf of salerno with the little islands of Li Galli or Syrenuse Islands, where according to the legend the Syrens used to live.
Through a twisty bendy road you will reach Positano, the driver will leave you right at the beginning of the center that will enchant you with the narrow streets, cafès, art galleries and boutiques. In the afternoon the trip continues to the discover of Amalfi. On the way you will pass the fishermen village of Praiano, with its church dedicated to San Gennaro, bishop of Benevento who was martyred in the fourth century under the reign of Diocletian. The building, with a beautiful polychrome majolica dome, was built in the sixteenth century on the ruins of an earlier church of the same name.
Praiano is famous also for a picturesque Christmas crib built in a cave that you will see.
