There’s no need to line up again as the guide escorts you back to the Basilica with an instant access. All visitors must pass through airport-style security check before entering the Basilica, during high season the waiting time may be up to 30 minutes
The elevator's Dome only takes you to the first balcony, to climb up to the main Dome you will have to use the stairs (320 steps) which require 20 extra minutes
The Vatican Museums, Sistine Chapel, and Vatican Necropoli are not part of this tour
All areas that customers touch are frequently cleaned
The number of visitors is limited to reduce crowds
You are required to bring and wear a mask
Please arrive at the meeting point 15 minutes before the activity starts.
The meeting point is at Piazza della Città Leonina, near the arches, where the square meets via di Porta Angelica.

When should I book?
To guarantee availability book as soon as possible. Early booking is worth consideration especially if you planning the trip during high season like public holidays or weekends.
Cancellations
This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 48 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 48 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
