Please note:
• All visitors must pass through airport-style security. During high season the wait at security may be up to 30 minutes.
• Due to the increasing popularity of Pope Francis and the increased activity in organizing mass events at the Vatican, some areas may be closed at the last minute without prior notice. This has already occurred this year and could happen again during your Vatican tour. In these cases, the Sistine Chapel might not be accessible. If this occurs your tour guide will provide you with a valuable alternative concentrating the tour inside the Vatican Museums.
• A dress code for both men and women requires shoulders and knees to be covered. Shorts and skirts are fine but must cover the knees.
• This tour is not suitable for kids under 5 years of age.

All participants who are 12 years and older must present a Green Pass that is valid in the EU and has a verifiable QR code. Valid Green Passes can be obtained by uploading either proof of vaccination, proof of a Covid-19 infection within the last 6 months, a negative PCR test taken no more than 72 hours before the activity starts, or a negative antigen test taken no more than 48 hours before the activity starts to the Green Pass or Covid Certificate apps
All participants must also bring a valid government-issued photo ID (e.g. passport, driver's license, etc)
At the Vatican Museums'entrance, by the white monumental door topped by the statues of Raphael and Michelangelo. The tour guide will be standing there holding a sign with the customer's name.

When should I book?

To guarantee availability book as soon as possible. Early booking is worth consideration especially if you planning the trip during high season like public holidays or weekends.


Cancellations

This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 48 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 48 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
