Description
Learn how to make a classic Italian pizza during a 1.5-hour workshop with a local Italian chef as your guide. After learning and baking with all ingredients and equipment provided, enjoy your homemade pizza with a good glass of wine.
Make your way to the restaurant located in central Rome where you’ll meet your small group of aspiring pizza chefs and your local guide. Here, you’ll spend a delightful evening learning how to make authentic Italian pizza from fresh ingredients.
The cooking class will set you up with a station including a work plan, an apron and rolling pin. You’ll start with a theoretical and then practical lesson on working the dough, from the ingredients to wait times to two different ways of kneading the dough. Then, choose which type of pizza you’d like to make – marinara (tomato, garlic, oregano), margherita (tomato, mozzarella, basil), diavola (tomato, mozzarella, spicy salami, chili) or Napoli (tomato, mozzarella, anchovies).
After the lesson, you’ll be accompanied to your table where you’ll enjoy a delicious bruschetta while your pizza is cooked in a wood oven. Savor a red or white wine, water or limoncello while you taste your creations.
