The Colosseum can be very crowded during peak times. It is recommended to visit early in the morning or late in the afternoon.
Security checks are mandatory for all visitors. Large bags and backpacks are not allowed inside.
The ground in the Roman Forum and Palatine Hill can be uneven, so wear comfortable walking shoes.
The ticket allows one entrance to the Colosseum and one entrance to the Roman Forum and Palatine Hill area within two consecutive days from the first use.
Last entrance to the Colosseum is one hour before closing time.
For transparency, the price of admission to the Colosseum is €18 for adults and free for under 18 age. The remaining amount covers advertising electronic information booklet, as well as other services and booking fees.

When should I book?
To guarantee availability book as soon as possible. Early booking is worth consideration especially if you planning the trip during high season like public holidays or weekends.
Cancellations
